Happy New Year, John. Yours is my oldest continuous parasocial relationship, now that Richard Stevens became a hermit a few years back (we all saw it coming). I am unsettled by how things have changed since then, but that is best not dwelled on. I wish you and all my fellow fans true prosperity in 2026.
Thanks John - been here since the good old days of webcomics (ha) where the only way to find a good one was to jump through webrings, and I was too broke to buy the physical releases myself. Almost 20 years later, I've got my own money and trying to scrape together the nostalgia of those days (I recently acquired a full set of FreakAngels on eBay for £24, and my stupid heart is happy even though it's getting old and has less time to read). Stick to your guns - I'm glad you're still out there making things the way you do. Glad you posted cos it looks like this is a time in my life where I have to drift to newer pastures (platforms) to find my favourite creators again (I just looked you up on Patreon and hey! Kate Beaton's there too). Wish there was a better way to do this, but my Firefox bookmarks are all gathering dust and I suppose I better keep with the times. (But, I really do love webtoon!)
